cloud sync never stops

when syncing in the app it reads “Sync status: syncing”, thats been displayed now for several hours. the actual sync went trough and i can see my climbs and infos in the web browser. just the status never changes. it also tells me “last sync: not yet” although, as i said, it did sync it succsesfully
