view/edit your plan in a webbrowser
crimpd and sequence both allow the user to create and edit plans and exercises etc via a webbrowser on a PC. makes it much more convinient to use a big screen and a mouse to plan things out and then use the phone app when youre in the gym

Hey @conirhawk - let me know if you’ll be open to test the feature once it’s ready.
You’ll need to download TestFlight from apple and give me your email address so I can add you to my beta users group.

Hi @conirhawk !
Thanks for the suggestion. It’s actually a bit complicated since the app at the moment is on local on device and in order to do that i’ll need to introduce authentication layer and cloud storage to facilitate the entire flow (i.e. from you app to the browser and back), since the app is completely free I need to check if I can stay below the limit of a paid tier of one of the known providers.
Having said that, I do get the point and I think it can be very valuable for many people - Do you see the use-case primarily for Plans and Catalog items?
If I keep the actual logged data (climbs and exercises) out of this flow it might be a quick win.

hey, thanks for the reply. for me personally, it would be just the convenience of creating and schedueling plans and exercises on a big screen with a mouse so i have a overview of my week/month at a glance.
maybe you could allow users to sync their logs to icloud or dropbox, so you dont have to host them yourself? sorry i dont know much about dev-work.
also, are you using location services? all the gyms in the app are ones local to me, is it because you are also from my town or does the app know where i am?

@conirhawk no location services, i’m just also from Berlin :)
I’ll look into the web browser topic and see if it can be done without too much infrastructure work.
